Who Invented The “MY SLEEP APNEA CURE Program?

After suffering from a loss of energy and a general malaise for several years, Richard Tomasulo, inventor, author and member of American Mensa was diagnosed at the University Of California at San Diego Medical Center’s Sleep Clinic with severe Obstructive Sleep Apnea in August of 2007. He was told he stopped breathing during sleep 44 times an hour and that unfortunately there was no known cure for OSA. He was prescribed a CPAP machine and mask to wear nightly to aid in breathing during sleep.

 

Unable to tolerate the discomfort and noise of the CPAP machine and unwilling to accept that there was no cure for OSA, he began searching for a possible way to treat and perhaps even cure OSA. He consulted two medical doctor friends for advice; Dr. John Wells, M.D. specializing in Family Practice and Dr. Michael Parker, D.O., specializing in Geriatrics. Both agreed there might possibly be a cure for OSA and agreed to review his research and progress toward his goal of developing a permanent cure for Obstructive Sleep Apnea.

 

Since OSA is caused by weakened neck, throat, jaw and tongue muscles that collapse during sleep, he began experimenting with various physical therapy exercises which he devised that could rehabilitate and strengthen these muscles. After months of trial and error his research was narrowed down to six simple, isometric exercises that specifically targeted the neck, jaw, throat and tongue muscles. He used these six exercises on himself and permanently cured his OSA in a matter of weeks.

 

Doctors Wells and Parker reviewed his findings and found his exercise program did in fact cure his OSA and the program was both effective and safe to use for most OSA sufferers.
